IDI Logistics Announces Built-to-Suit Distribution Center for AmerisourceBergen

Lease will add 10th building to Crossroads Distribution Center

ATLANTA (June 12, 2015) – IDI Logistics, a leading global investor and developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, announced today that they will develop and lease a built-to-suit distribution center for AmerisourceBergen in Olive Branch, Miss., part of the Memphis market. AmerisourceBergen, a global healthcare solutions leader, is expanding its supply chain to increase efficiency and improve product access that will ultimately enhance patient care. The company is also growing its presence in Shakopee, Minn. and Newburgh, N.Y. as part of this supply chain expansion.

When complete, the building will bring the size of Crossroads Distribution Center to 10 buildings spanning 5.2 million square-feet. Construction on the new facility is expected to start in the summer of 2015 and will take approximately 18 - 24 months to complete. Other tenants in Crossroads Distribution Center include Milwaukee Electric Tool, General Electric and Smiths Medical.

This announcement is part of AmerisourceBergen’s ongoing investment in the distribution network and IT systems that handle nearly 35 percent of all pharmaceuticals sold and distributed throughout the country. The new distribution centers are part of AmerisourceBergen’s commitment to creating an efficient healthcare and pharmaceutical distribution network.
