A Commitment To Diversity

IDI Logistics has always been committed to a culture of diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our business. We believe a variety of backgrounds and viewpoints drives innovation and helps us better serve our customers and communities.

 

We are aware diversity is comprised of both visible and invisible human attributes including gender identity, sexual orientation, education level, religious background, and unique life experiences. We can proudly say our Senior Leadership team reflects many, and our company as a whole represents all, of this broad spectrum of diversity.

Community Involvement

At IDI Logistics, we have a rich history of strong community involvement. As a company and as individual employees, we participate in charitable activities ranging from fundraising efforts for environmental organizations to long-term contributions to educational and health programs.

IDI Logistics also has a Matching Gifts program where employees can have personal donations to non-profit organizations matched by the company, up to $5,000 per year.

Every quarter, we host an “IDI Logistics Cares Day” where one of our employees recommends a charity that is important to them. Donations are collected from colleagues and IDI Logistics matches all employee donations.

This quarter IDI Logistics is supporting charities that benefit each of our regions’ communities.

The Posse Foundation

In 2021, IDI Logistics became a Career Partner of the Posse Foundation, a national nonprofit organization with the goal of empowering diverse groups of leaders who transform communities, this country, and the world.

Posse started in 1989 because of one student who said, “I never would have dropped out of college if I had my posse with me.” The Posse Foundation identifies public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential who may be overlooked by traditional college selection processes. The Foundation extends to these students the opportunity to pursue personal and academic excellence by placing them in supportive, multicultural teams—Posses—of 10 students. The Foundation’s partner colleges and universities award Posse Scholars full-tuition leadership scholarships.

In 2022, our Atlanta and Chicago offices hired two summer interns via the Posse Foundation.
